"I'm Two!"

We recently celebrated Bella's 2nd birthday. She walks around saying, "I'm two!" She usually gets up two fingers...sometimes three on accident. Then other times she will put up 5 fingers and say "I'm five!" and laughs about it. She has such a fun personality and likes to make people laugh.

We got her this makeup/hair styling kit for her birthday, because she is always in my makeup drawer wanting to put makeup on. She loves her present and is always wanting to paint our toenails and put lipstick on us. The age on the kit is 3 and up, but I didn't think it would be bad for a 2 year old to have until she started sticking the skinny little makeup brushes in her ear!! I took those away, and now it is safe for a 2 year old to play with!

She got a huge cupcake for her birthday. She ate all of the frosting off the top and was then done with it.

The day after her birthday a good friend of mine and her daughters came over to play with Bella and celebrate her birthday. Here are the girls having their "pool party."

Bella LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so I wanted to try and make her a Mickey Mouse cake. I googled a few ideas and then came to my senses....I had a 10 day old baby and no time to practice making a cool cake. So, I ordered the cake from Copps and called it good! The cake was cute and Bella loved it.

July 29th was also our 5 year anniversary. It has been a great five years with my hubby. He is so good to me, and I am thankful for him and these two little munchkins we have now! This is one of my favorite pictures from our wedding. Oh, how I would love to relive this day!
