4th of July Weekend

We went to Medford for the 4th of July weekend. It was a jam packed weekend! Lisa, Gary, and the girls were there from Colorado. It was so great to see them. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Kaila loved Bella! She would come by and snuggle her, hug her, and touch her cheek and say "Isn't she the cutest thing!"

Taylor took Bella swimming in mom and dad's pond for the first time. Bella enjoyed floating in the water and watching all of the other kids swim.

Since the 4th was a rainy day some of the boys played checkers against Gary. Bella had to get in on the action. They were ok with it until she started messing up their pieces.

We had decided not to go the park to watch the fireworks since it was so rainy and icky out, so I put Bella to bed. Then at about 9:00 Lisa decided that her and Gary were going to take the girls to the fireworks even though it was raining. So, my wonderful husband stayed home with sleeping Bella and I went with them to the park. Joni, Kiana, and I tried to stay dry under the umbrella....it didn't work so well.
Bella was exhausted at the end of the day!

11 Months!!

On June 29th Isabella turned 11 months! It's crazy that she is almost a whole year old - how time flies by. Bella has her own little personality and she is so much fun to be around. She is so smiley and loves to laugh. Here are a few stories and pictures of Bella at 11 months...

She has discovered the tupperware lid drawer. She looks pretty guilty in this picture, and she only has a few lids out....just give her some time and it will be empty. It actually is nice because then I can have some time to unload the dishwasher, clean up the kitchen, or make dinner while she is entertained by the lids.

Bella likes to play with the pillows that sit on the couch. She will first take them all down and throw them on the floor. Then she will move them around & around, position them in the "right" spot on the floor, and then reorganize them again! It is so funny to watch her do this. Sometimes Andy likes to play with her mind and hide a pillow or two when she turns the other way. She definitely notices it right away and will look for them. Then he will take one from her to lay his head on and she will fight to get it back. Once she finally gets it back, he will take a different one from her and the game goes on and on....

This last month Bella has gotten really good at standing up on her own. She can get up and down pretty quick. Once she is up she will clap, dance, and wave her toys around in the air.

And of course when she turned 11 months, I had to turn 30 years old! 30 years?!?! Seriously?!?! I can hardly believe it myself :) Andy has been throwing around some good getting old jokes, but it won't be long until he is hearing them right back. Shouldn't there be a few more candles on that cake?
