Queen of the Throne

I have not updated my blog in so long that I didn't even know where to start. I put it on my to do list since I have been on Christmas break from school. It is now the last day of break, and I finally decided I better get at least one post done! I had ideas for posts to make over the last 4 months, but I just never actually posted. So, I decided to skip over apple picking, Halloween, Thanksgiving, tree decorating, etc and move on to something a little more current.....the potty!!! Bella is not potty trained yet, but she LOVES to sit on the toilet. She runs into the bathroom and tries to put her seat on the toilet. She thinks she needs to take off her shoes, socks, and pants before sitting. I tried to get her to keep her pants and socks on while she sits on there, but that did not happen. She is serious about this potty thing and needs to get down to business. Once Bella gets on the potty seat, she immediately asks for a piece of toilet paper. I think that is the most exciting part for her. Bella sits up there like she is the coolest person smiling and laughing. She has only actually gone #1 once and #2 once. The #2 was pretty exciting! She kept saying "Uh-oh" like she did something wrong, but I tried to assure her that it was a great job. I look forward to the days of no more diaper changing; although, I think we have a long ways to go yet.

I'm sure she will thank me some day for posting pictures on the Internet of her sitting on the potty.
