Half Birthday!!

On January 29th, Bella had her 1/2 birthday....she is 6 months old! She is growing up so fast. Here is a summary of Bella at 6 months.

Sitting:

She doesn't sit for very long on her own yet. The longest has been about 10 seconds, but it's a start!

Eating:

During the last month, Bella has started eating rice cereal. The last week she also started eating squash. She needs to fill up on something while I'm at work since she still won't take a bottle!

Moving:

She likes to dig her head into the floor and push her butt up in the air. A couple of times, she has gotten on all fours for a split second. Maybe she will crawl soon! Even though she doesn't crawl yet, she does move around all over the floor by rolling.

Kisses:

Bella likes to give kisses. She opens her mouth up nice and wide and slobbers all over our faces. It is wet and sloppy. She'll come at us with her open mouth and attack - sometimes she even grabs your face, so there is no escaping the kiss!

Teeth:

She has her first tooth!! It is a front bottom tooth. Two days prior to the tooth discovery, I thought Bella was getting an ear infection because she kept pulling on her ear. She would tug on it constantly and then scratch behind her ear. She never had an ear infection, but a few days later there was a tooth! This teething business causes even more drooling. This isn't the greatest picture, but it's hard getting a picture of a new tooth coming in! You can see it if you look closely.

Toys:

Bella has discovered electronics. She would rather play with the remote, cell phone, or camera instead of her own toys. She sees them and grabs! They should make all baby toys black, white, and gray!
