What are these? These are two of Andy's golf trophies. Every year the city has a golf tournament for the city employees. Andy won two years in a row, and the above are the trophies representing his talent! Two days after Bella was born, the city was having the 2009 tournament. We were still in the hospital and Andy really wanted to go and see if he could win a 3rd year in a row. He ended up winning and now he has added this lovely flamingo trophy to his collection. At least there is pink on this one! The trophies used to sit in the basement, but now he wants to display them in the living room...temporarily of course, right?!?!
Kinda like your parents living room--where are the elk heads? We need to show off our talent someplace, right. Andy must be good at golfing to win three years in a row. Bella will have fun watching her Dad play. Maybe she will be a golfer too.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Andy on winning....but those are some crazy trophies. Definitely have personality. They say if you get lots of things that you want to remember but not display, you should take a picture and start an album - might be something I would look into. Although they are quite the conversation pieces.
